It has been my pleasure to work with the outstanding students of Milperra State High School and Save the Children to develop a workshop program and implement a large mural on the school grounds.

This was my first experience working with English as a second language students, which was a challenge. However I have been really impressed with the creativity and commitment thee students have demonstrated.

The mural program was spread over 8 weeks and established a process of creating artwork that was derived from and meaningful to the young people. These artworks were then synthesised into an overarching concept that helped tell the story of the diversity within the school.
James, thank you very much for such a wonderful wall!”
